Beyond the Prairie: The True Story of Laura Ingalls Wilder
TV Series (2000 - 2002)
From last 3 books of the series and "The First Four Years", we first meet Laura as an 1880s teenager, living on the South Dakota prairie with her Pa, Ma and 3 sisters. She has to endure the hard life, which includes teaching at a school she does not enjoy, blizzards, fires, failing crops, and death. She survives on the strong love within her family and romance that blooms when she meets Almanzo.
