The show revolves around things that annoy Dr. John Becker, a local New York doctor. His nurse Margaret is one of the few people who can tolerate Becker. Although a comedy, series tackled few serious issues like race, homosexuality, AIDS, Cerebral AVM, the 911 Terrorists attacks and political correctness.
