Beavis and Butt-Head tv show photo

This is a world where parents are nearly non-existent and two bored young teens can get into a world of trouble. When not sleeping through classes or torturing their teachers at school, they amuse themselves by watching TV, trying to score, and annoying everyone in town. The show alternates between the misadventures of the two boys and music videos, which they critique in their opinionated way.

The duo was named after two real people. While going to college, creator Mike Judge lived next door to a destructive, unsupervised 12 year-old who called himself "Iron Butt", as he claimed to feel no pain after challenging others to kick him hard in the rear. One of this boy's friends was nicknamed "Butt-head" by Mike Judge and his classmates. There was another boy who lived a few blocks away named Bobby Beavis, though Judge says that he was absolutely nothing like the character.

  • Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Mr. Herrera says "Como es Juan" to Butthead for the first time, he is facing Beavis.
