Summary: The Decepticon battleship, Nemesis, has taken to the air with the Predacon Megatron at its control. The firepower at his control is completely unmatched by anything that the Maximals could possibly throw at it. Optimus Primal and the other Maximals must do whatever they can to stop him anyway, even if it means giving up their lives in this series ending final installment.

TRIVIA

In Japan, this episode was called "Happy? Kore de ii no da," or "Happy? This Should Do It." This is a comment upon the conclusion of the series.
Optimus Primal quotes from the Covenant of Primus: "In the darkest hour, there will be a light," This is a reference to The Transformers: The Movie (1986), where an Autobot prophecy was mentioned of one who would "light our darkest hour."
SPOILER: Optimus Primal's last exchange with Dinobot parallels their first meeting. The first time they met, Dinobot told Primal to save himself and Primal refused to listen. The same happens here: Primal asks Dinobot to save himself and Dinobot refuses to listen.
Megatron's comment about sound advice ("Duly noted... and ignored!") was heard in the "Transformers" (1984) episode "Masquerade." It was spoken by the original Megatron towards Shockwave.
