Episode Quotes

Lt. Starbuck: You two make quite a pair, you and your father. For androids patterned in man's image, I'm not so sure you didn't get the best end of the deal.
Hector: I consider that a great compliment.
Capt. Apollo: We'll begin taking sleep periods to conserve our strength. There's no telling how far out that ship's destination may be. Set your breathers for minimum to conserve.
Lt. Starbuck: All right, but I'm too excited to be sleepy.
Capt. Apollo: Starbuck, this trip could be endless.
Lt. Starbuck: Meaning none of us may make it? Remind me to invite you to my next party. You're a lot of fun.
Vector: Hush up, Hector. He's sore because I didn't build him any brothers and sisters.
Hector: A girl is what I really want.
Vector: If I had parts for a woman, I'd build one for myself. Hmph!

Mistakes/Goofs

  • Goof (revealing mistake): When she is first being awakened, the supposedly-unconscious Sarah can be seen shifting her legs. Later, when she is being put back into the stasis tube and, again, is supposedly unconscious, she is clearly shifting around to get herself settled comfortably inside the tube.
  • Goof (revealing mistake): Just after Apollo shoots the barrels with his laser, the camera cuts back to Michael. As Michael is speaking to Apollo, an airplane can be seen flying by in the background (it couldn't be an alien craft of any kind, because the planet is uninhabited.)
  • Goof (anachronisms): Apollo is explaining to Michael that they have plenty of power to handle the Alliance. Right after Apollo blows up a barrel with a single shot of his laser gun, the camera pans to Michael. Just to the right of Michael's head, you can see a plane flying in the sky.
  • Goof (audio/visual unsynchronized): When Apollo is debating with Adama about what to do with Sara, Michael, and the children, he says, "I'm sorry, but the lives of those six people do not belong to us," but his lips say "five" not "six."
