Summary: On their anniversay, Adama is reminded of his first wife, Carolanne, who he seemingly lets haunt him throughout the day.Meanwhile, Tyrol and Cally, who have been having their own marital problems, become trapped in an airlock with oxygen leaking into space.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

FACT: Trapped in an airlock with a leaky seam, Chief Tyrol presses a patch down over the leak, which bulges slightly, presumably from pressure behind it. In reality, with pressurized air inside the airlock and vacuum outside, the patch would get sucked into the leak, not blown away from it.
CONT: While talking with Major Lee Adama in the pilots briefing room, Admiral Adama's shirt collar changes from closed to open throughout the scene.
FAKE: As Chief Tyrol and Specialist Cally are inspecting an airlock before becoming trapped, Cally looks in a mirror and then moves away from it. Her reflection remains motionless, however.

TRIVIA

Edward James Olmos read the "Previously on Battlestar Galactica" line at the beginning of the episode.
The title of this episode is probably an homage to The Beatles' song "A Day in the Life" from the album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band".
