Who is Admiral William Adama?

Admiral William Adama (callsign "Husker"), a veteran of the Cylon War, is the commanding officer of the battlestar Galactica, and the highest ranking officer left in the Colonial Fleet.

William "Bill" Adama (callsign "Husker") is a fictional character portrayed by Edward James Olmos[2] in the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica television series. The character is a reimagining of Commander Adama from the 1978 Battlestar Galactica series. The early life of Adama will also be featured in the upcoming Caprica spinoff series.
