Summary: Catwoman wants to get her claws into a pair of golden cat statues from the Gotham museum to find the clue to the lost treasure of Captain Manx. Having one already in her clutches, Batman makes plans to lure her towards the remaining statue to capture her.

According to a reference made by Catwoman during this episode, her favorite pet tiger, which she uses to play an "amusing" game of "The Lady or the Tiger?" with Batman, is a female named Tinkerbell.
ABC interrupted the original airing of this episode for a news bulletin. NASA astronauts Neil Armstrong (I) (a little more than three years before he became the first man to walk on the Moon) and David Scott were having problems with the controls on the Gemini 8 spacecraft and a near-fatal situation ensued. Thousands of viewer phone calls swamped the ABC switchboards, not out of concern for the astronauts, but to complain about the interruption of the "Batman" telecast.
Julie Newmar designed and personally sewed her Catwoman jumpsuits. The famous gold "platter" necklace, seen in every appearance by Catwoman (including appearances with Lee Merriwether and Eartha Kitt in the role) has no character significance; it was merely a fashion statement.
