Goof (continuity error): The name of Edward Platt's character is spelled as "Roy Evans" in a newspaper article, while his boarding house is called "Evens Hotel".
Goof (anachronisms): Near the end of the story, Bat Masterson says, "...where every man wishes he were a Paul Bunyan". The story takes place during the 19th century; however, the fictional character known as Paul Bunyan wasn't created until the 20th century.
Goof (anachronisms): While Bat Masterson is enjoying a meal at a hotel restaurant, the waiter pours Bat a cup of coffee. A wrist watch is clearly visible on the waiter's wrist. This series takes place mainly in the 1880's and wrist watches did not come into common use until the 1920's.
