Never-married attorney Bentley Gregg(John Forsythe) took on the task helped by Peter(Sammee Tong) of raising his niece Kelly, after her parents died in an accident. The job was easier when Kelly(Noreen Corcoran) was a little girl, but now she's in her teens, venturing into the adult world and dating! Meanwhile Bentley continues to juggle his career, looking after Kelly, and his own romantic life.
