TALK Babylon 5 (Give your review)

tmtmtmtmtm May 15, 2008 2:11PM	JMS really can tell a story, can't he? I've always loved tv, but B5 was the first time I saw truly spectacular tv. Well thought out, well written, great storyline and continuity. I wish all the acting was up to par, but I never found it to be distracting. It's time to go watch the whole five year story arc again!	+0

quark Apr 14, 2008 12:34PM	If you like space-faring sagas like Star Trek etc., and have not seen this then your sci-fi experience is incomplete. This is well made with a good base storyline and well acted it's a must for all sci-fi fans. BTW please only post reviews here not comments or questions which should be in the forums. danowar Jan 18, 2008 1:40PM	I have just watched all of Babylon 5 for the second time in this order and I have to say, WOW what a show, it's fantastic. It's dark and earthy realism from the rich to the poor, their living conditions and interaction on all levels was done really well. The space battles were of epic proportion and many more space battles and ship scenes shown in depth than on any other show in scifi I've seen before. I didn't get to see this show when it came out originally for various reasons. Now I've watched all episodes back to back and in the right order, I have found it to be awesome in the extreme. Bit late to wish it was still running but them's the breaks, as they say! mekon Jan 12, 2008 7:32AM	Babylon 5 was made to challenge the mighty 'Star Trek' series. It's a bit 'darker' than Star Trek - the atmosphere is more like The Lord of the Rings. Arguably the series greatest strength lies in the complex, mature and wholly believable evolution of its central characters, especially the key alien figures. This series is a must for SciFi fans.	+3

They did a phenomenal job of tying the disjointed first season into the "Great War" theme. I lost interest after Sheridan left the series. It got less engaging after the first five seasons.	+4

jellybeans Oct 10, 2007 7:12AM	This is certainly one of the best if not "the" best scifi. Forgot how much I enjoyed this show on first viewing and that I never saw the ending. Must do some serious rewatching to complete that I had missed. Briliant!	+1
captsheridan Oct 8, 2007 1:06PM	Best damn scifi tv show ever JMS is brilliant this series had it all, a theme a time line a beginning a middle and unfortunately an end, However JMS has just released another movie not quite up to snuff due to finances but he says if the dvd sells he will get network money to do more b5 movies.	+4
