Babylon 5 - 03x13 A Late Delivery from AvalonSummary: A man claiming to be King Arthur arrives at the station. He has the sword Excalibur to back up his story. Marcus and Dr Franklin takes the king under their wings in order to try and help him out. The plight of Arthur is an enigma but he instills respect and stirs the imagination of all that meets with him. He finds an unexpected brother in arms in G'Kar who admires him deeply. The prices on the station are sky-rocketing and the internal finances needs looking over. Consequently Garibaldi is in a situation that is next to extortion with the local post office, who knows to charge through the nose. The food situation isn't good - and the diet of some of the lesser fortunate causes diseases. The situation calls for a treaty, and Sheridan is working on making a deal with all the various races onboard.

Episode Quotes

03x13 - A Late Delivery from Avalon Season 3 / Episode 13: - A Late Delivery from Avalon

Marcus Cole: Where my people come from, his story has great power. I'll miss him.
Dr. Stephen Franklin: Even if he wasn't Arthur?
Marcus Cole: [as Kosh appears] Now, now! Next thing you'll be saying is he's not Merlin! - Merlin was a great teacher, you know!
Dr. Stephen Franklin: I'm not hearing this.
Marcus Cole: They say he aged backwards. That was how he was able to foretell the future - by remembering it! Which means he came from the future! Maybe he had Arthur form the Round Table by remembering us! We're forming one of our own, after all. Which makes you Percival. I'm Galahad, him being sinless and all. Sheridan is Arthur. Ivanova, perhaps Gawain. I think we both know who Mordred is. So the question is - who is Morgana le Fay?
03x13 - A Late Delivery from Avalon Season 3 / Episode 13: - A Late Delivery from Avalon

Dr. Stephen Franklin: We can't just let him wonder around the rest of his life thinking he's King Arthur.
Marcus Cole: Why not?
Dr. Stephen Franklin: Because this is the truth.
Marcus Cole: "Better the illusions that exalt us than 10,000 truths."
Dr. Stephen Franklin: Aleksandr Pushkin, yes.
Marcus Cole: Let this one truth die, Stephen! Let him be Arthur, let him be anyone he wants.
