I love the show and will watch it until it goes off the air more likely than not, however I do have to agree with rakdad3187. Alot of the times, the situations and characters are "too much". I was an Air Force brat and I now have a husband who works as a civilian police officer on an Army Base and has for 5 yrs. One big difference I see is that the women portrayed are not even close to the age of most REAL army families. Most of them are actually 17- twentysomethings and they have NO problem with going out and partying it up while their spouses are deployed. The spouse is out there risking his life in a foreign country and the last thing they need to worry about is who their spouse is going to hook up with at the bar while they are gone. I realize there are two sides to that story as well, but this show is good for drama and that is pretty much it. I applaud them for trying to show what military families go through when a spouse is deployed or living in a constant state of fear about not knowing "when" they will be deployed, but that is all I can see that is real to life. It is good for entertainment purposes and to make you think, but don't hold it to being accurate on most aspects of military life they show. |

I absolutely love this show.I think it addresses the biggest issue of them all. It's fine and dandy for the country to "Support the troops" and what they do overseas. But no one ever takes into the consideration what the wives and families of these soldiers must sacrifice for the same cause. Year long or better deployments, in harm's way, forced into single parenthood. I was a soldier so i got to see what the wifes of friends faces looked like when we came back. |

ok i get the need for the other side and it being a tv show not real life, but I am a 15 year soldier, and married for 15 years, and the show seems to be TOO much sometimes, but any publicity is good publicity, Army SPOUSES need some support |

I absolutely loved this show, I hope it becomes a running series. It's nice to see them tell the other side of the army story and where all the support comes from. |
