Mistakes/Goofs
- Goof (continuity error): During the exchange between Angel and Harmony near the beginning of the episode, Angel says that he doesn't recall what it is like to be human. Technically, he should remember, as he was human back in Season One's "I Will Remember You".
- Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): During Angel's chat with Connor, Angel says he was at the 1st taping of the Carol Burmett Show and says, "Tim Conaway was on fire." Tim Conaway was not in the 1st season of the show. He was not listed as a regular in the credits until season 8.
Trivia
- As of the series finale, David Boreanaz is the only actor to have appeared in every episode, David Boreanaz and Christian Kane are the only actors to appear in both the first and last episodes of the series and David Boreanaz, Charisma Carpenter, Alexis Denisof, Julie Benz and J. August Richards are the only actors to have appeared in every season.
- Aside from Buffy guest stars the only regular/recurring characters to survive from the first season to the end of the fifth are Angel, a dying Gunn and non-regulars Kate Lochley and David Nabbit. The only characters to feature in the opening story of Buffy; TS (Welcome to the Hellmouth/The Harvest) and the final story of the Angel; TS are Angel and Harmony Kendall, both appearing in the first and last episodes of the Buffy/Angel verse.
- Christian Kane (Lindsay) filmed his scenes one and a half months before the rest of the episode was shot.
- SPOILER: Just before Lindsay meets his fate, Lorne tells him "I've heard you sing." This is technically true, as Lindsay did sing in front of Lorne - in Season 2, Episode 18 ("Dead End"), three years earlier. The all-seeing Lorne did not seem anything less than pleased with Lindsay's song in that episode. However Lindsay also sings a few bars of 'Pretty as a picture' just before Lorne shoots him, possibly sealing his fate in Lorne's eyes
- The poem Spike reads in the bar is the same poem he reads to Cecily, the object of his affection, in "Fool for Love" in season 5 of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. After Cecily rejects him, he wanders around London until he runs into Drusilla, who sires him.
