Actor Raw Leiba was flown to Los Angeles by the producers to play a Native American character among the names suggested were: Black Cloud, Rain, Black Rain and Tomahawk, which was suggested by Leiba himself. After a short conference amongst them they decided that they did not want to come up with a name that could be possibly offensive to Native Americans and scrapped the character.
'Michael OHearn, known here as the gladiator Titan, was a reserve gladiator on the original series in Season 6 and 7. He is the only individual to be a gladiator on both the old and the new series.
