  • Episode 04 - Goof (continuity error): When Herr Flick and Herr von Smallhausen join the monastery in the previous episode, "'Allo 'Allo!" (1982) {Fleeing Monks (#7.3)}, they are told they must give up all worldly possessions, including their glasses, which the monk smashes on the floor. Here we see they both
  • Episode 01 - First episode with Roger Kitter playing captain Alberto Bertorelli and Robin Parkinson playing Ernest Leclerc.
  • Episode 08 - Goof (factual errors): In the newspaper headline the Germans are referred to as "Bosch". The correct, and very derogatory, term is "Boche".
  • Episode 04 - Goof (anachronisms): The song "The Happy Wanderer" by Friedrich-Wilhelm Möller and Antonia Ridge that's performed by Carmen Silvera and Gorden Kaye in this episode, was actually written a few years after World War II.
  • Episode 05 - Goof (continuity error): As Helga, Herr Flick and Herr von Smallhausen run away from the monastery, we see them leave to the left, from the audience POV. But the head monk yells at them from up above and is looking in the opposite direction.
