Airwolf is the most advanced helicopter in the world. The series starts with the helicopter’s creator stealing it. The Firm hires Stringfellow Hawke to recover the helicopter. Hawke is successful but refuses to turn it over until his brother is rescued from Vietnam. meanwhile he reluctantly flies missions for The Firm. Helping him is the Firm's contact Archangel and mechanic Dominic Santini.

Random Fun Fact: During filming, a Huey helicopter crashed during a maneuver in Pico Canyon in California. Reid Rondell, Jan-Michael Vincent's stunt double, was killed, and a special credit appeared at the end of that particular episode dedicating the installment to him. - [more trivia]
