- Goof (revealing mistake): In the opening shot, the fold in the set wall is visible in the starry sky.
- Goof (continuity error): When the dog walks into the kitchen he isn't wearing a collar. When he jumps on the table he's wearing a red collar, then in the same scene, Harry talks to the dog on table, and the collar has disappeared again.
- Goof (revealing mistake): When Harry brings home the dog, it runs towards Dick. When he bends down to pick up the dog, you can see the treat in his hand used to draw the dog over.
- Goof (continuity error): April's hair changes instantly to be all behind her shoulder between shots.
- Goof (continuity error): Sally's laundry suddenly changes between shots.
- Goof (revealing mistake): When Dick storms in and starts taking off his clothes, you can see Tommy smile, and look away twice, trying to hide the fact that he's breaking character.
- Goof (factual errors): When a player substitution takes place in basketball, the game buzzer is sounded. When Tommy is sent into the game there is no buzzer nor does Tommy check in at the scorer's table, which is also a requirement in basketball.
- Goof (revealing mistake): When Tommy presses the button to disable the invisible box that Dick is in, Sally is on top of it and the cord suspending her is visible for a moment before she falls on Dick.
- Goof (crew or equipment visible): When Harry is parading around in his security guard uniform pointing his torch at the gnome, the set wall edge, the spotlights and the audience seats can be seen reflected in his sunglasses. The spotlights can also be seen in his glasses when he attacks Mrs Sumner and when Dick and Mary moon at him near the end.
- Goof (crew or equipment visible): When Dick is pretending to talk to the university on the phone, he is watching himself in a mirror. As he turns around, several studio lights are reflected in it.
- Goof (continuity error): When the Solomons are talking on the rooftop, Harry is holding a tanner, in the next shot the tanner is lying next to him.
- Goof (continuity error): (at around 1 min) As the gang is interacting in the kitchen both the size and location of the knot of Dick's tie changes significantly throughout the scene.
- Goof (boom mic visible): When Tommy and Harry are looking through the studio glass, the boom mic is reflected in it.
- Goof (revealing mistake): Just before we get to see Dick in his tribal body-paint, you can hear a drum playing. The scout is moving the sticks, but they are not touching the piece of wood that he is supposed to be playing (the sticks are hitting the air a few inches above its surface).
- Goof (continuity error): When Don brings back Sally's stuff, she finds her suede belt. She puts it on, the beige segment is on her left (our right) and the black segment is on her right (our left) (at around 3 mins). Tommy, Harry and Vicky enter the kitchen. Next time we see Sally (at around 11 mins), the beige and the black segments have traded places. After Tommy says that the floating casino is the size of two football fields, Sally gets up, and the belt segments are back at their original positions (at around 3 mins).
- Goof (continuity error): When Nina drops the box, it stays upright and the dishes stay inside. In the next scene, the box lays on it's side and the dishes are spilled over the ground.
- Goof (continuity error): After Harry has eaten the pickled egg and says, "That's pretty good," you can see that the lid on the jar of eggs is open and flipped back. In the next shot, he looks back at the door for a split second, and when he looks at the bartender again, the lid is now shut tight.
- Goof (crew or equipment visible): When Dick is sitting in the car with Mary and Nina, the top of the studio wall can be seen reflected in the bonnet revealing this as a set.
- Goof (continuity error): When the doctor, shot from behind entering the parameters for the first change, giving Dick a big chin, we see his hands are hovering over the keyboard. When the shot changes a split second later, showing the doctor from the front, we see he's holding his hands clasped together up at his chest.
- Goof (crew or equipment visible): When Dick and Mary have just finished go carting, Mary takes off her helmet, the studio lights can be seen reflected in it although the scene is set outside.
- Goof (continuity error): In the previous episode, Nina accidentally used Vicki's alien curling iron to vaporize one of the masks hanging on the wall behind Mary's desk. The mask is back in this and all subsequent episodes. Given that Mary is an anthropologist who has been seen to be in possession of artifacts, it is likely that this mask was an artifact as well, so it's unlikely anyone would have been able to replace it easily.
- Goof (factual errors): When Harry goes into his office and starts changing the program schedule around, _"Frasier" (TV Series 1993-2004)_ is incorrectly spelled as "Fraiser".
- Goof (crew or equipment visible): When Dick is sitting on the sofa in the Solomon's living room, the shadow of a person is moving behind him, near the bathroom door.
- Goof (continuity error): When Tommy defaces the portrait of Harry, the spray paint becomes suddenly faded in one shot, then later the spray paint is fully back.
- Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Nina tells Dick that Mary's favorite movie is "Pardon My Sarong starring 'Bob Hope'". Pardon My Sarong was a Bud Abbott and 'Lou Costello' movie, not a 'Bob Hope' movie.
- Goof (revealing mistake): When Don and Dick are splitting a log with axes and the log finally comes apart, you can see the double sided tape that was holding it together in the first place.
- Goof (revealing mistake): When Harry brings in Arthur, they get all excited and start playing the movie, but if you look closely the VCR is not hooked up to the TV by any wires.
- Goof (continuity error): After Dick tells Mary about Easter Island, she leans away, laughing. A split second later, we see them from a different angle, but now they are close together, their foreheads touching.
