Summary: Liz meets Rosemary Howard, her idol, and asks her to be a guest writer on the show, but Rosemary's tendency for the radical, while something Liz admires, is not right for the network show. Jack pressures Liz to fire Rosemary, but Liz quits instead. Meanwhile, Jack has Tracy go to therapy in order to understand why he has to do the opposite of what he is told. Kenneth, his page jacket ruined by Jenna, has to compete to keep his job.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

DATE: Toward the beginning of the episode, when Liz has having a flashback to a Laugh-In episode that featured Richard Nixon, the actor portraying the former president walks onstage saying "pardon me" several times to which one of the cast responds "You were already pardoned". This is an anachronism because Laugh-In went off the air May 14, 1973, President Ford's pardon of Nixon did not come until Sept 8, 1974 16 months that show's finale.
