Summary: Jane and Kim head back to Los Angeles in the CTU motorcade. President Palmer must make a decision regarding Saunders newest demand. Sherry approaches Palmer's political opponent with a unique offer. CTU gets intel on Saunders location but soon realize he has a new asset.

MISTAKES/GOOFS
- FAKE: When Tony first speaks to Michelle while she is held captive by Saunders the film was flipped during editing and shows Tony's neck bandage, wedding ring, and phone on his right side. The shots before and after they are on his left side, the correct side.
- FAKE: The satellite image Tony deletes looks as if it were taken at an angle from a nearby rooftop, rather then directly overhead from a satellite.
- CONT: Tony tells Chloe he wants her to work in Tech 1 on analyzing the phone call because he doesn't want Adam to know about it. Yet somehow Adam finds out, since a few minutes later, Adam tells Jack that Chloe is in Tech 1 trying to trace Saunders.
- CONT: While talking to Tony over the phone, Palmer's hand does not possess any scarring.
TRIVIA
- The episode ends on the split screen, which usually has been done for the transition to the final scene. It is also a 6-panel screen, instead of the usual 3-panel or 4-panel split.
