MISTAKES/GOOFS
- CONT: Jack takes Ryan into the meeting room and locks the door behind him (note that the doors don't line up). Then when Jack leaves, he doesn't unlock the doors, they just open.
- CHAR: The forensic expert who checks the fingerprints on Kathy's belt in the hotel room isn't wearing any protective clothing, even though there is still the danger of being infected, as the virus was released in the ventilation system, and anyone would be still exposed just by breathing the air anywhere inside the hotel. In fact, the other persons in the room (apart from Dessler and Kathy, who have already been exposed) checking for fingerprints are all clearly wearing Hazmat suits.
- CHAR: Ryan Chappelle says he has no friends or family to call to say goodbye, yet he is wearing a wedding band.
- CREW: Chase is leading a strike team to Saunders' location (or so they think). As he and Agent Baker make their way by the cars, the camera clearly passes by a second camera team and crew members hidden inside and outside of a truck just as they turn the corner and take cover behind another car.
- CREW: Jack shoots Ryan Chapelle in a train yard. Just before the final clock/end credits of the episode, a pair of feet can be seen moving behind the train on the right of the screen.
TRIVIA
- This episode marks another rare instance in which the split-screens are not used to transition to the closing moments of the episode.
- SPOILER: Ryan Chappelle is killed off in this episode. Paul Schulze (I) the actor who plays the role has said in interviews that his death was supposed to be faked. But the writers changed the scene around when it appeared on a spoiler website called Ryan's Report.
- Due to the move to Sunday, 24 had the show's worst ratings ever, getting a 4.0/6 ratings share.
- This episode was originally scheduled to air on April 13, but was preempted at the last moment because of a White House press conference.
- This episode was the third and final submission by the producers for Emmy consideration.
