Summary: Anne meets with her ex-husband to pick up letters that will prove her innocence, but things get out of hand; Hector fills Ramon in the reasons for their new alliance with Jack Bauer and assures him that once they buy the virus, they will kill him; Claudia reveals her true nature when she tells Jack how angry she is with him for leaving her behind when his operation ended; Chase arrives in Mexico, and compromises Jack's cover.

MISTAKES/GOOFS
- GEOG: Near the end of episode 7 (7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.), Agent Chase Edmunds had managed to determine the location of the Salazars as being in Las Nieves, Mexico. A map of Mexico was pulled up on a computer screen that clearly shows Las Nieves, Mexico and yet near the beginning of episode 8 (8:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.) when we are shown an exterior shot of Salazar's compound in Las Nieves, Mexico, the captioning at the bottom of the screen identifies the location of the compound as being in "Las Nieves, NEW Mexico" (the US state) instead of in the country of Mexico where it is actually located.
- CHAR: The scientists who created the virus are said to be from "The Ukraine." The country is simply named Ukraine, and has not been referred to with the "The" since the days of the Soviet Union (pre 1991).
- GEOG: About five minutes in to the episode, they return to the Salazar ranch and the caption says "Las Nieves, New Mexico". It has been stated numerous times the Salazar ranch is in Las Nieves, Northern Mexico. This was fixed in the DVD release.
