Summary: Kyle escapes the sting at the mall while Tony is critically wounded; Kyle and his girlfriend are later captured by Salazar's men. Palmer must refuse to negotiate so Jack turns "rogue" to break Salazar out of prison so the virus isn't released, but Chase gets in the way. And despite the advice of his brother, Palmer eventually decides not to pay off Anne's ex-husband.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: There's a goof in the real-time concept - Jack calls up Chase, who is in his own car. Jack orders him to return to CTU and Chase hangs up, and then the camera immediately cuts to Chase talking to the warden at the penitentiary in his office.
FACT: A young kid (no older than 10) shooting a gun like we see here would probably get hit in the face by the gun when the recoil went off.
CONT: There is an editing goof during the "Previously" clip. After Tony got shot, Kyle started to run and when Jack arrived, Kyle was gone. The next shot showed Kyle running again and Jack is not there.

The prison scenes were filmed on location at California's abandoned women's prison, Civil Brand.
