MISTAKES/GOOFS

FACT: When Kevin kills Janet York, she is in ICU. Patients in intensive care are monitored constantly. Her failing vitals would have triggered an emergency hospital code.
FACT: Jack uses his cell phone while in the hospital, despite the fact that cell phones are known to interfere with hospital equipment and can be potentially dangerous in such a setting.

TRIVIA

Up to this point, Fox had been showing repeats of each episode on Friday evenings at 9:00 P.M. in an effort to allow viewers to catch up on missed programs. Fox decided to stop the re-runs due to bad ratings, though they continued to rebroadcast each week's episode on their cable outlet, F-X.
Kiefer Sutherland appeared on The Tonight Show on November 12, and forgetfully gave away the entire ending of this episode.
The new IT guy is called Milo Pressman (played by Eric Balfour). In the movie Stand By Me (1986), also starring Kiefer Sutherland, a scrap yard owner appears bearing the same name.
