Johnny Depp's character this episode. When he rips open his sleeve to see the tattoo, it's very clearly the real Indian chief tattoo that Johnny wears to this day, not a Hollywood make-up job.
This episode is also known as "Doin' the Quarter Mile in a Lifetime".
The episode title is a reference to the book "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas". The book was later made into a film, also starring Johnny Depp.
