Goof (errors in geography): While it's not stated where the series takes place some Montreal landmarks can be seen. But in several episodes it's stated that the 18 year-old couple can't drink because they're underage. That will be true if the series takes place in the neighboring province of Ontario where the drinking age is 19 (21 for the United States) but in the province of Quebec it's 18 so in that case they would legally be able to drink.

Goof (errors in geography): You can see many Montreal's landmarks. IE the Orange Julep (big orange ball) in the opening theme. Orange Julep is famous in Montreal for, obviously, its sweet orange juice. Also, in front of The Veg "coffee" shop, you can see one of Montreal's parking pole. Meanwhile, you can notice the license plate on both Bellow's cars (Tom's and Ben's cars). Both license plates are from Ontario and not Quebec while it's happening in Montreal, Quebec.
