In the 1940s he was head of the Story Department at RKO.
Ex-son-in-law of 'Lillian Fontaine' (qv).
Father of 'Debbie Dozier' (qv), with 'Joan Fontaine (I)' (qv).
He was head of the writer's department at Paramount while such writers as 'Billy Wilder' (qv) and 'Preston Sturges' (qv) wrote for the studio.
Ex-brother-in-law of 'Olivia de Havilland' (qv).
Not only produced the _"Batman" (1966)_ (qv) TV series, but also served as the show's uncredited narrator. On the 1966 Original Televison Soundtrack Album, for which Dozier provided the liner notes, the narrator is identified as "Desmond Doomsday".
Stepfather of 'Gloria May (I)' (qv).
