BIOGRAPHY:

Whitby Hertford was raised in Oak Park, California, and is a graduate of the University of Utah's Actor Training Program. Whit began his career at the age of three. He is the brother of Chelsea Hertford ("Major Dad" (1989), American Beauty (1999) and Brighton Hertford ("General Hospital" (1963) and The Work and the Glory (2004)). He is married to to actress Heidi Klein.


TRIVIA:

• Is classically trained and was artistic director of Shortcut Theatre Co., based out of Salt Lake City. He is a co-founder and current company member of L.A.'s the Stage Standard.
• Avid Los Angeles Clippers fan and NBA enthusiast.
• Is an alum of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles and there became a founding member and co-creator of the improv and sketch troupe The Attack!.
• Started playing drums at 8 years old. Lists Stewart Copeland, Keith Moon and Jeff Marshall as inspirations. Has played with several groups including: Steel Image, Some Call Me Tim, The Brilliant Stereo Mob, Curtains (opening act for Death Cab for Cutie), and The Mannequin.
