Graduated from the famed Pasadena Playhouse in 1952.
'Harry Dean Stanton' (qv) slept on his couch while they were students at the Pasadena Playhouse.
Joined the U.S. Navy in 1943, and drove an LCVP Landing Craft in the first wave of the invasion of Saipan and Guam, 1944, and was with Gen. 'Douglas MacArthur' (qv) when he "returned" to the Phillipines in 1945.
Father of film producer 'Dana MacDuff' (qv)
Named his son 'Dana MacDuff' (qv) after 'Dana Andrews (I)' (qv), with whom he did theater at the Pasadena Playhouse.
The only person to say both "Who was that masked man?" and "That was the Lone Ranger!"
He was the dialog director for _"Perry Mason" (1957)_ (qv) and _"Ironside" (1967)_ (qv).
