  • Was to co-star with 'Margaret Leighton' (qv) in the Broadway play "The Chinese Prime Minister" in 1964, but was fired during the tryouts for being too young to play a sexy nymphet.
  • Daughter of actors 'Ann Sothern' (qv) and 'Robert Sterling (I)' (qv)
  • In the film _The Whales of August (1987)_ (qv), Tisha played the same character as her mother, 'Ann Sothern' (qv), in flashbacks as a younger woman--named Tisha.
  • At 19, she and 'Danny Lockin' (qv), who later played Barnaby in the film version of _Hello, Dolly! (1969)_ (qv), screen-tested for the part of Liesl and Rolf in the movie blockbuster _The Sound of Music (1965)_ (qv), eventually losing out to 'Charmian Carr' (qv) and 'Daniel Truhitte' (qv).
  • Her aunt was singer/songwriter 'Bonnie Lake (I)' (qv), who wrote such standards as "Sandman," "I've Got Your Number," and "Gracias.".
  • Actor 'Richard Egan (I)' (qv) was her godfather.
  • Later became a florist and designer in the Sun Valley, Idaho, area, and today only infrequently appears in films. Has one daughter, Heidi Bates Hogan.
