Once owned and operated a storefront art gallery, "Out of the Blue", near the Yale University campus.
When the makers of "Ghost World" (2001) asked her permission to use her image on a "The World of Henry Orient" wall poster in one of the scenes, she requested $100. They gave her $150.
Though a natural blonde throughout much of her life, she dyed her hair brown for her film debut at the request of the producer and director.
Is an artist, writer, and performer who has lived in New Haven, Connecticut, USA, since 1984.
Director 'George Roy Hill' (qv) discovered her. During the shooting of _The World of Henry Orient (1964)_ (qv), Hill had lunch with her every day.
