BIOGRAPHY: It was his roommate at The Citadel who first encouraged Tim to pursue acting. He does not talk much about his experience at The Military College of South Carolina, except that he finds it ironic that they failed him in public speaking. During his time as a Cadet, he walked over 600 tours for punishment, became a member of the Summerall Guard (an elite unit), and graduated with a business degree. Upon graduation, Tim still had no interest in the arts. He went into business with a dream of eventually owning his own company. After two years of steadily rising up the corporate ladder, the company he was working for closed the Charleston office. He was unable to find work and moved back home to Houston. It was then that Tim's acting career was born. He was getting a haircut in preparation for a job interview when he noticed a theatre company conducting auditions. It was at that moment that he remembered his old friend's advice about becoming an actor, so he went to the audition and was cast. Since then, Tim has performed in over twenty professional theatre productions, several indie flicks, and has done print, industrial and commercial work. Tim trained intensively at the Moscow Art Theatre in conjunction with the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, Massachusetts and went on to study at the Larry Moss Studio in Santa Monica.
TRIVIA:
- Tim was offered fifty dollars by his company commander to quit the Citadel during his knob (freshman) year.
