TRIVIA:
- Was a pro football player with the Philadelphia Eagles.
- Father is of Croatian heritage. From moscenicka draga region in Croatia.
- In many ways, Tim Rossovich predated 'Ted Hendricks' (qv) as a lunatic football player and personality. Rossovich was an All-American DE at USC and, while in the NFL, made his reputation as a guy who definitely marched to the beat of a drummer no one else knew of or heard! Was famous for pranks that gained him money on bets such as chewing glass and setting himself on fire. Never lived up to his potential as a player in the NFL and, every once in a while, you can see him on vintage NFL Films about the Eagles of the 60s and 70s.
- Well-known character actor in the 80s, played a tough guy who looked like a really beefed-up 'Tom Selleck' (qv) in his _"Magnum, P.I." (1980)_ (qv) days.
- Brother is actor 'Rick Rossovich' (qv)
- Attended St. Francis High School in Mountain View, California.
