Learned to play drums from his father for his role in Love Actually.
Has starred in three movies with 'Colin Firth' (qv): _Love Actually (2003)_ (qv), _Nanny McPhee (2005)_ (qv) and _The Last Legion (2007)_ (qv).
Plays guitar, but had to learn to play left-handed for _Nowhere Boy (2009)_ (qv).
Is a cousin of 'Hugh Grant (I)' (qv).
At age 13, while accidentally viewing a sex scene in the film _Love Actually (2003)_ (qv), he told director 'Richard Curtis (I)' (qv) that it was the first 15-rated film he had ever seen at that age.
