- Members have included 'Brandon Flowers' (qv) (vocals/synthesizer), 'Dave Keuning' (qv) (guitar), 'Ronnie Vannucci' (qv) (drums) and 'Mark Stoermer' (qv) (bass). There is also an unofficial fifth Killer named Ted, who recently joined their tour and plays backup guitar and keyboards.
- Won Best New Artist in a Video at the 2005 MTV VMAs. They were also nominated for Best Rock Video, Best Group Video, and Best Art Direction in a Video for "Mr. Brightside".
- None of the band members smoke. 'Brandon Flowers' (qv) quit smoking on November 22, 2006.

- 'Brandon Flowers' (qv) married his longtime girlfriend Tana on 2 August, 2005 in Hawaii.

- 'Brandon Flowers' (qv) was a bellhop for a while at the Gold Coast Hotel; 'Dave Keuning' (qv), who was originally from Pella, Iowa, but moved to Las Vegas in early 2000, worked at a Banana Republic; 'Mark Stoermer' (qv) worked as a medical courier delivering various medical supplies; and 'Ronnie Vannucci' (qv) was a student of classical percussion at UNLV and worked as a photographer at the Little Chapel of Flowers.
