BIOGRAPHY: Tennille Williams is a talented, striving actress, who knew at the age of seven years old, her career focus would be in television and film. She was born in Conroe, Texas to Arthur Lee and Barbara Ann Williams. Her parents divorced when she was 2 years old, and Tennille was raised by her mother and grandmother. She became a sitcom and soap opera fan, memorizing various scenes word for word from the shows she watched with her grandmother. At the age of 13, Tennille enrolled in a Theatre Arts class at Washington Jr High in Texas. She realized that acting was her soul mate, a connection of endless possibilities.
By the time Tennille reached the age of 17, she was featured in numerous plays and showcases. In 2001, Tennille made the decision to further her acting career. She took the first step by relocating to Austin, Texas, where she studied with some of the best acting coaches which included Van Brooks, and Eleese Lester.
Tennille continued to broaden her talents by acting in Independent Films. She starred in a powerful Indie film that won 1st place in the Chicago Film Festival entitled "Hangin" along with co-starring on a regional Texas soap opera "Shades of Life", where she played bad girl Geneva Jamison, and was nominated best actress.
In 2003, after spending two years in Austin working on her craft, Tennille decided to move forward and relocate to Los Angeles, California. Since her arrival, she has co-starred in the independent film entitled "Wonderful Plans" and acting in various films distributed by Sony Pictures, Warner Bros., VH-1, Lifetime Television and HBO. Tennille has worked on the "George Lopez Show", "Entourage", "Dr. Vegas" and a broad range of television and film roles.
Tennille Williams is set to be among the leading women of Hollywood. A native of Texas, a heart of gold, whose soul purpose is to express her acting talents among the best in television and film.
