BIOGRAPHY: Mello began acting in a community theater as a child. As a teenager, Mello made her professional debut as a guest star on "Boy Meets World" (1993), soon followed by "7th Heaven" (1996). Later, she was cast as Rachel, a regular on the series "Nothing Sacred" (1997), but it didn't last long enough for her to make a solid impression. Despite her advanced years, Mello played Lily Esposito, Sam's best friend and teen activist on "Popular" (1999).
