BIOGRAPHY:

Susie Castillo (born October 27, 1979) is a former beauty queen who held the Miss USA title and competed in the Miss Teen USA and Miss Universe pageants. She pursued a career in the media, and as such, has made various television appearances and hosted shows such as MTV's Total Request Live as a VJ.


TRIVIA:

• Susie was Miss Massachusetts Teen USA 1998, Miss Massachusetts USA 2003 and also won the Miss USA pageant for 2003 and in the process became the first person of Puerto Rican-Dominican descent to win the title of Miss USA.
• Was born and raised in Methuen, Massachusetts.
• She is MTV's newest VJ as at 2005.
• Ranked #78 on the Maxim magazine Hot 100 of 2008 list.
• Is the second representative from the state of Massachusetts to win the Miss USA title, the first being Shawnae Jebbia in 1998, the same year Susie was the Miss Teen representative. They both had the same final question which won them the title of Miss USA.
• Even though she was the first person of Puerto Rican-Dominican descent to win the title of Miss USA she was the 3rd third Latina ever to become Miss USA, prompting People en Espanol to name her one of the "25 Most Beautiful People".
• Studied Fine Arts and graduated in 2001 from Endicott College, located in Beverly, Massachusetts.
• Is the new face and spokesperson of Neutrogena as of January 2007.
