BIOGRAPHY:

Steve Byers is a Canadian actor most known for his role as Jason Tanner in the television show Falcon Beach. After he graduated from Unionville School for the Arts, Steve studied at University of Western Ontario in the Film Program to develop his acting further. He started his professional career with minor parts on A Simple Wish and La Femme Nikita. His move to Vancouver jump started his career further when he landed a recurring role on 2Gether an MTV comedy series. Yet a few years later Steve returned to his hometown of Toronto to star with Rachel McAdams Shotgun Love Dolls, another MTV series. Since then he has starred as a guest on several TV shows, such as Now What?, Mutant X and UPN's Kevin Hill. His film credits include My Brother's Keeper, House of the Dead and Slap Shot II. In order to prepare himself for his role on Falcon Beach, Steve took wakeboarding lessons from the top athletes in that industry.
