BIOGRAPHY: Stacy Arnell, is a versatile chameleon like performer with the unforgettable presence of Hepburn, and the undeniable power of Judi Dench. She hails from Houston, Texas, and has the kind of magnetic charisma and personality that enhances any project she touches, whether it be a film a television show, stage play, or national commercial.
Not one to sit idle by, Stacy pursued her dreams early with the intense energy and perfection that has become her trademark. She attended and excelled at Columbia College in Chicago, where she majored in Broadcast Journalism, and then following the words of the great Horace Greely, who said "go west" Stacy relocated to Los Angeles, California and immediately began to land roles.
Stacy was featured in the blockbuster film "Deep Cover" where she worked with the well respected actor, Laurence Fishburne, and won supporting roles in hit films such as "the Great White Hype" starring L. Jackson and Damon Wayans, "Menace II Society" with Bill Duke and Charles S. Dutton and "Cutthoat Alley" directed by Timothy Wayne Folsome. Stacy has worked with some of Hollywood's biggest actors, including Jamie Foxx, Martin Lawrence, David Caruso, Swoosie Kurtz and Sela Ward.In addition to her work in film she has also graced the small screen as a guest and co-star on television shows such as, Cold Case, Strong Medicine (a recurring role as Vanessa, The Practice, Alley McBeal, The Jamie Foxx Show, ER and Boston Public.
Stacy's latest project "Drillbit Taylor" starring Owen Wilson, a comedy from the producers of Knocked up, The 40 Year Old Virgin and Super Bad is due to be released March 21, 2008.
