TRIVIA:

Due to an injury the day before, Shoshana had to go on as Elphaba for Idina Menzel on Idina's last show on January 9, 2005.
Shoshana means "Rose" in Hebrew.
Her boyfriend, Tyler, was killed in a car accident on May 1, 2006.
While she was still an ensemble member in "Hairspray," 'Shirley MacLaine' (qv) personally sought her backstage after a performance to tell her, "You are a shining light on the stage. You are going to be a star."
Graduated from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre.
While she attended CCM, Shoshana was good friends and roommates with Kristy Cates. Cates understudied Idina Menzel in "Wicked" while Shoshana served as a standby. Later on, Cates understudied Bean for two months. Kristy is currently playing "Elphaba" in the Chicago production of "Wicked."
