Best known for her role as head nurse Liz Thorpse on the TV drama _"The Nurses" (1962)_ (qv), for which she received an Emmy nomination.
Descendant of actress 'Henrietta Crosman' (qv).
Began her career as a model with the John Robert Powers Agency and as a nightclub singer.
Won a Theatre World Award for her work in the 1955 Broadway musical "Plain and Fancy". She and one-time husband appeared together in the Broadway show "Banjo Eyes" which starred 'Eddie Cantor' (qv).
Moved to Washington state in the early 1970s and performed locally on stage.
