BIOGRAPHY: Sal is a native New Yorker living in Los Angeles after being directly chosen by Robert De Niro to be the "Twenty Minute Man" in Analyze That (2002). The scene opposite De Niro was also featured in the theatrical trailer for the film. Sal has a strong education and theatre background and, following graduate school at NYU, spent two years developing standards based new media curriculum with a team of teachers at Taft High School in the Bronx while also performing with Shakespeare in the Parking Lot on NY's Lower East Side. He has a BA from Cortland State in Theatre and was fortunate to study at Circle in the Square at 50th and Broadway. Sal's exploratory trip to Hollywood became his new life after an unexpected windfall on The Hollywood Squares.
TRIVIA:
- At age 7, he appeared with a roller skating panda in a TV commercial for "Child World" thanks to the nepotism of his Aunt Debbie, who worked in Customer Service for the East Coast toy store chain.
- His survival jobs have included Circus Barker with Cirque du Soliel, NYC Tour Guide, Ice Cream Man, Pot Washer, Waiter, Administrative Assistant, Hotel Bellman, Receptionist and Concierge.
- During the summer of 2005 Sal traveled to 16 American cities as Talent Handler on the production team of Fox's "Trading Spouses."
- Stood in for Liev Schrieber during production of "The Manchurian Candidate" in New York.
