BIOGRAPHY: Roberto Escobar is an actor with over 25 years of professional acting experience. He has worked in over thirty films including highly acclaimed movies such as Transporter 2, My Father the Hero, Le Grand Pardon II,Libertad,The Perez family,Hidden Rage and many more. His acting credits include international hit series such as the BBC's Only Fools and Horses, FOX's Tiempo Final, Al Filo de La Ley and numerous International Soap operas aired worldwide. Roberto has been nominated and won various awards for his film,theatre and television performances including an INTE award for best supporting actor for his portrayal of the ruthless prison warden,Coronel Santana in the International production Amantes Del Desierto, An ACCA award form the Association of Art's Critics and Commentators for best comedic actor for the role of Freddy in the hit sitcom Corte Tropical, a nomination for an ALMA award for his portrayal of Pedro Montero in the BBC's,RAI and TVE co-production of Joseph Conrad's Nostromo. Roberto received a TV y Novelas award for best actor in a TV series for his role of George Martin in the international hit series Fuego Verde and received an award for career achievement from Carteles magazine. Roberto has also participated as a stuntman in various film and TV shows and studied Film production and direction. He is one of the producers in the film Hidden Rage.
