BIOGRAPHY: Robert began his acting career under the tutelage of Lee Strasberg in New York City. Shortly after they met, Strasberg invited Robert into his home and his life. The two became friends, and Robert became his next protégé. He would turn out to be his last. They continued to work together for almost two years, and ironically on the day of Mr. Strasberg's funeral, Robert auditioned for and booked his first play, the highly acclaimed "A Barber Shop in Pittsburgh," directed by Frank Corsaro at The Actors Studio, N.Y., and went right on to do "The Modern Ladies of Guanabacoa," directed by James Hammerstein at The Ensemble Studio Theatre N.Y. He also worked for six months with Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Sidney Kingsley on his final play Falling Man, also at the Actors Studio. Upon moving to Los Angeles Robert co-founded the Award winning Friends and Artists Theatre Ensemble (FATE) and performed in six productions including Willie Eisenring in "The Firebugs" by Max Frisch, Job/Bob in "Moonchildren" by Michael Weller, and Jean-Paul Marat in "Marat-Sade" by Peter Weiss. In television Robert was best known for his portrayal of Massud Naboti in "The Billionaire Boy's Club". A mini-series Directed by Marvin J. Chomsky of (Roots). He's guest- and co-starred on numerous TV shows including Just Shoot Me, Home Improvement, and Faculty, a 1/2 hour comedy pilot. He also has had featured roles in three of Henry Jaglom's Films, including New Years Day.
