BIOGRAPHY: Robert studied film production and directing at NYU (SCPS) and is creator and director of an animated series entitled "Land Of Zi" which has gained great attention at leading festivals throughout the world.
He teaches a course in "Acting for Animators" at CalArts and gave a lecture series on the subject of the Meisner Acting Technique at DreamWorks Animation.
Robert was born in Manitoba, Canada. He was trained as an actor at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City, was a member of Circle Rep. Lab Theatre and worked in the directors unit of the Actors Studio. He served an apprenticeship as Understudy to John Malkovich in the world premier of "Burn This" at the Mark Taper Forum. He won a Los Angeles Dramalogue Critics Award for Best Actor in a Dramatic Role for his work in "Judevine" and, among others, received rave reviews for his performance in "Burn This" at San Diego Rep. He has appeared in a number of television Guest Star roles and enjoyed traveling to Japan to film "We Met in Osaka."
