Starred in a season three episode of _"Gilmore Girls" (2000)_ (qv), which was the backdoor pilot for a California-set spin-off titled "Windward Circle", that was to have starred 'Milo Ventimiglia' (qv), 'Sherilyn Fenn' (qv) and Estes. The network dropped the project citing cost issues due to filming on location in Venice, California.
One of his first acting jobs was in the daytime drama _"Days of Our Lives" (1965)_ (qv) playing "Glenn Gallagher" (1986-1987), but it was his series role as "Detective Chris Lorenzo" in _"Silk Stalkings" (1991)_ (qv) that finally put the name to the face.
