BIOGRAPHY: Rey Valentin began acting in his hometown of Bridgeport, Connecticut. He trained at the SUNY Purchase Acting Conservatory under the direction of Joan Potter. Upon graduation he joined the New York City Theatre Community performing in Soho Rep's highly praised "Everything Will Be Different."Later that summer he joined the cast of "Much Ado About Nothing" for the 50th year celebration of Shakespeare in Central Park. After a few TV appearances in shows "Law and Order", the WB's "Bedford Dairies" he decided to move to Los Angeles. Within a year he appeared in TV shows "Numb3rs" "CSI: NY" & "One Tree Hill". He then joined the cast of Wayne Kramer's "Crossing Over" an immigration drama starring Harrison Ford, Ashley Judd, Sean Penn and Ray Liotta. Then in June 2007 he traveled to Africa (Namibia, South Africa and Mozambique for 7 months) to shoot the much anticipated HBO mini series "Generation Kill."
TRIVIA:
- Began his own Production Company called The Imaginenation @ Purchase College with partners Malcolm J. Goodwin, Lyndon Mcray, and Ryan Oconnor, which is now known as The Imagine Nation Films Studio.
