He was Tom Cruise's close friend and personal stunt double until his own tragic death in 1985. Tom was filming Ridley Scott's Legend in England at the time when he was informed of his death. Tom was devastated and could not speak to hardly anyone for days after because he was so distraught.
Died due to helicopter explosion during filming of "Airwolf" TV series.
