She is the daughter of Norman Hetherington, the puppeteer responsible for Mr Squiggle. As such Squiggle is her 'older brother', and the affection they have is quite evident in the years when she was the presenter of the show. (at one stage in the '80s she was also a puppeteering assistant on the show.)
Appeared in the opening sequence (Cartoon Heros - Aqua) for Channel 7's Good Friday Appeal concert 2003.
